I refer to this as the “beginner’s roll” Nothing too exotic and honestly, quite basic. I have a saying if you are new to sushi and eat it at least three times, you are hooked for life!
This roll can be found almost guaranteed on every menu in every American Japanese restaurant.
Ingredients:
Sushi Rice
Nori Sheet
Kani (Imitation Crab)
Cream Cheese
Avocado
Prepare this roll with the rice on the outside.
After rolling, it is optional to sprinkle some sesame seeds on top of the roll (white or black).
