"Ichiban" (means first or number one) has some unique and very tasty warm sushi rolls. Two delish rolls are the Volcano Roll and the Dynamite Roll. Both are some of their newer rolls on the menu and have quickly become my two favorites. The Volcano Roll is served with hot scallop delight generously poured on top of the roll. If you are a fan of scallops ~ you will love this one.

I had the pleasure of working at Ichiban "for fun" for two nights. I was the only blonde American in a kimono behind the sushi bar! I learned a lot of good tips from a wonderful sushi chef named Dido. This is an experience I will never forget and am grateful for. I had so much fun. I also gained quite an appreciation for the work a sushi chef does. If every person that comes in orders at least two rolls, then you have made a lot of rolls before the end of the night! Please be patient when you are waiting on your order - every roll is carefully handmade. Also, don't leave out your sushi chef when it comes to tipping!
